Three Windows and Office critical patches this month

by Nikola Strahija on July 9th, 2005 Microsoft will release three critical software patches on Tuesday as part of the usual monthly update.

The patches deal with Windows and Microsoft Office. The software giant will also release an updated version of its Windows Software Removal Tool.
No specific details have been given except that some of them are "critical", meaning that flaws could allow malicious code to be installed on an affected computer without user action. Some of the updates will require a restart, Microsoft said.

Sysadmins will probably have an easier time with the July patches than last month's, when there were 10 patches.
