Milosevic Trojan

by Ivana Strahija on March 17th, 2006 The Trojan week continues as we report of yet another one. Dropper-FB hides in e-mails claiming they have the proof of what Slobodan Milosevic really died of.

After Slobodan Milosevic, a former president of Yugoslavia, has died, the virus writers decided to once again exploit things not one sane person would. Claiming that Milosevic was killed in den Haag prison, they've sent out e-mails containing a vicious Trojan, Dropper-FB.

E-mails with subject: Slobodan Milosevic was killed, have a picture attached as a proof of the claim. The image attached is indeed an executable file, which, when opened, downloads the Trojan onto the user's PC.

BlackSpider Security Company warns that over 800,000 emails containing the new Trojan-downloader might have already been sent to various British business e-mails.

This way, Slobodan Milosevic brings harm even after his death. He was accused of genocide and causing death and suffering for hundreds of thousands of people in the former Yugoslavia by the den Haag court, but the case was abruptly finished by his death of natural causes. Milosevic was suffering from heart related problems for years.
