Homeland Security employee arrested for online seduction

by Ivana Strahija on April 5th, 2006 Brian J. Doyle, according to Miami authorities, was arrested and charged with using a computer to seduce a child. Doyle is a deputy press secretary for the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.

The authorities caught Doyle red-handed, as he was online with the girl he thought was 14 years old, but was in fact an undercover detective.

Doyle found his victim online, and soon afterwards started having conversations with her. He even sent the 'girl' pictures of himself, his work and home phone numbers, together with pornographic material, said Carrie Rodgers, Polk County Sheriff's Office spokesperson.

According to the spokesperson, Doyle instructed the 'girl' to do a sexual act while thinking of him and described explicit activities he wanted to have with her.

Homeland Security said they were taking the allegations against Doyle very seriously, and that the office was ready for full cooperation with the authorities.
