OWASP Croatia Meetupby Nikola Strahija on February 20th, 2016 Open Web Application Security Project or OWASP is a worldwide not-for-profit charitable organization focused on improving the security of software.
Next Friday (February 28th, 2016), Faculty of Organization and Informatics in Varazdin, Croatia is hosting an OWASP meetup with the following schedule:
- Tonimir Kisasondi (FOI OSS) - Developing (relatively) secure applications
- Bernard Toplak (Orion) - Post-Password Era, safe(er) methods of authentification
- Miroslav Stampar (ZSIS, co-author of sqlmap) - Presenting concept of ABcD ("Automated Bug (cruised) Discovery") - heuristic (!), fast, open source and modular web browser plugin for "bug bounty" hunters
The talks begin at 18:00 and are expected to last up to 3 hours after which attendees are welcome to network.
A representative of Xatrix Security will be attending the meetup which means you can expect photos and depending on the Presenter - slides from the talks.
The Open Systems and Security Lab has been organizing regular meetups on Fridays under the name of "Skill Exchange" (roughly translated) for several years. However, during 2015 organizing these kind of meetups has been difficult due to significant lack of organizers' time. We've spoken to a few of the regular "Skill Exchange" attendees and all of them are eager to visit the OWASP meetup.
