MIME-support insecure temporary file creation vulnerability

by Mario Miri on May 13th, 2003 Due to invalid sanity checks during temporary file creation, it may possible to overwrite arbitrary file writable by the process executing mime-support.

Solution:
Debian released a revised security advisory (DSA 292-2) containing updated fixes which address this issue.
