3D-FTP Client 4.0 buffer overflow

by Mario Miri on May 16th, 2003 A buffer overflow vulnerability has been reported for 3D-FTP Client 4.0. This is possible due to insufficient memory bounds checking on banner data that is copied in local memory buffers. Arbitrary code execution may be possible.

Solution:
Currently there are no vendor supplied patches.
